AMarkets Review 2026: Costs, Safety, Platforms and Who It Suits
The 60-Second Decision
AMarkets suits experienced MetaTrader traders seeking high leverage, copy trading and a choice of spread-only or commission-based pricing. It offers Standard, ECN and Zero accounts, with minimum deposits of $100 for Standard and $200 for ECN and Zero.
The broadest trade-off is between flexible trading conditions and the legal protections attached to the client’s contracting entity. AMarkets’ international entities are registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Cook Islands; those company registrations are not forex or broker licences. Check the entity and terms offered in your jurisdiction before funding an account.

Broker Profile
| Dimension | Profile |
|---|---|
| Main business model | Multi-asset CFD and forex trading, with Standard, ECN and Zero accounts. |
| Product focus | Forex, metals, indices, commodities, stock CFDs, ETFs and cryptocurrencies. |
| Pricing model | Hybrid: Standard is spread-only; ECN and Zero add commissions to lower starting spreads. |
| Automation support | MT4 Expert Advisors using MQL4 and MT5 Expert Advisors using MQL5; VPS hosting is also offered. |
| Typical customer | Experienced MetaTrader traders seeking high leverage, copy trading and fast funding, and comfortable with offshore-style terms. |
| Regulation structure | International group registrations include AMarkets LTD in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and AMarkets LLC in the Cook Islands. The cited registrations are not forex or broker licences. |
| Trading complexity | High: leveraged derivatives, account-specific commissions and variable margin rules require active cost and risk management. |
What materially distinguishes it?
- Three pricing structures
- Standard uses spread-only pricing, while ECN and Zero combine lower starting spreads with commissions. Traders can compare the structure that best fits their instrument and trading frequency.
- High, conditional forex leverage
- Maximum leverage reaches 1:3000 on major forex pairs, but can be cut for weekends, high-impact news, account type, jurisdiction or open volume. The headline maximum is not a constant account setting.
- International registrations are company registrations
- The cited Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Cook Islands registrations are not forex or broker licences, making it important to identify the contracting entity and the protections attached to the account.

What We Tested — and What We Didn't
Tested directly
- Deposit: In our test, the deposit was processed quickly.
- Withdrawal: After about three months with AMarkets and no earlier withdrawal problems, we made an INR bank withdrawal on 1 Sep 2026. It was marked complete and credited the same day, but the bank placed the funds on hold after a cyber complaint. We followed up with AMarkets for escalation and a clear timeline.
- Mobile app: The mobile app was intuitive and easy to use.
- Order placement: Trade execution felt smooth and fast during our use of the platform.
- Email support: We sent the official bank email and other requested documents, but had to explain the case again and still wanted a clearer update.
Verified from primary sources
The entity details distinguish company registrations from forex or broker licences. The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines entry is registration 22567 BC 2015 for AMarkets LTD, and the Cook Islands entry is company registration LLC14486/2023 for AMarkets LLC. These registrations do not by themselves evidence forex-dealer authorisation.
Not independently verified
Our direct use does not establish typical execution speed or slippage rates. Slippage can be positive or negative. Claims about segregated funds, VPS latency and service protections should not be treated as a guarantee of trading or recovery outcomes.

What Does It Actually Cost?
Account Pricing
| Account | Minimum Spread | Commission | Minimum Deposit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | From 1.3 pips | No FX or metals commission; the charge is built into the spread. | $100 |
| ECN | From 0.2 pips | $2.50 per lot per side for a 1-lot EUR/USD trade; other instruments can differ. | $200 |
| Zero | From 0.0 pips | $5.50 per lot per side for a 1-lot EUR/USD trade; other instruments can differ. | $200 |
Spreads are floating. Minimum spreads are not the same as typical trading costs: AMarkets quotes an average EUR/USD spread of 1.6 pips, compared with a Standard minimum of 1.3 pips. For a commission account, compare the spread and the commission together rather than treating a 0.0-pip minimum as a complete cost.
The Standard account has no FX or metals commission, while ECN and Zero apply a per-side commission to a 1-lot EUR/USD trade. Instrument-specific charges can differ. The account pricing figures are presented for the stated trading conditions; the applicable entity and account terms may affect what a client can access.
What the headline number doesn't tell you
Advertised spread: Zero starts at 0.0 pips.
What that doesn't tell you:
The Zero account adds a $5.50 commission per lot per side for a 1-lot EUR/USD trade. The minimum spread is not an average spread, and actual costs vary with trading conditions.
Non-Trading Costs
| Fee | Amount | Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit | - | - |
| Withdrawal | - | - |
| Inactivity | - | - |
| Currency conversion | - | - |
Non-Islamic accounts can incur or receive overnight financing on eligible positions held past daily rollover. Islamic swap-free accounts are available for Standard, ECN and Zero accounts, subject to activation conditions.
Cost most worth watching
For active FX traders, compare the ECN or Zero commission with the spread on the same instrument and account. For positions held overnight, include swaps in the calculation; the amount depends on the instrument, position size, direction, financing rates and number of nights.

Is AMarkets Regulated and Safe?
Legal Entity Map
| Regulator | License Number | Jurisdiction | Main Protections |
|---|---|---|---|
| FSA (SVG) | 22567 BC 2015 (company registration; not a forex/broker licence) | International group registration; AMarkets does not target EU/EEA/UK/US clients | Saint Vincent and the Grenadines registration 22567 BC 2015 is a company registration, not a forex/broker licence. Do not describe it as financial-services authorisation. |
| FSC (Cook Islands) | LLC14486/2023 (company registration) | International clients; AMarkets does not target EU/EEA/UK/US clients | This is a Cook Islands company registration in the FSC registry, not evidence by itself of a forex-dealer licence. AMarkets also states Financial Commission membership with compensation up to €20,000 per eligible claim. |
Why the entity matters
AMarkets LTD and AMarkets LLC are the contracting entities identified for international clients, but their cited registrations are company registrations rather than forex or broker licences. AMarkets states that its international entities do not target EU, EEA, UK or US clients. The entity shown in your account agreement determines which terms apply, so check it before funding.
AMarkets says client funds are held in segregated accounts at international banks and licensed liquidity providers. The broker also states that it is a member of The Financial Commission, whose Compensation Fund may cover eligible claims up to €20,000. Membership and eligibility conditions are not a guarantee that a particular claim will be compensated.
Client Protection
AMarkets lists client-money segregation and negative balance protection among its protections. The negative-balance description applies to retail clients and excludes professional clients; the entity and client classification matter. These protections do not remove market, counterparty or trading risk, and the cited international company registrations should not be mistaken for forex or broker licences.

Where the range is strongest
AMarkets combines 44 forex instruments with 400 stock CFDs and 19 ETFs. The stock and index products provide leveraged derivative exposure rather than ownership of the underlying shares or index; stock CFD holders do not receive share ownership or voting rights.
Where it is limited
Retail bonds and standard retail options are not part of the stated offering. Leverage is asset-specific and can vary by legal entity and account. Crypto exposure is generally through leveraged derivatives rather than ownership of coins in a wallet, and availability can be restricted by jurisdiction.

07
Opening, Funding and Withdrawing From the Account
Account Opening
A live account requires KYC verification. AMarkets requires a valid government-issued photo ID, email and phone verification, and proof that the funding method belongs to the account holder. Deposits must come from a payment method registered in the same name as the trading account. Demo accounts are available without completing live-account verification.

AMarkets lists Visa, Mastercard, Tether, USD Coin, Binance Coin, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Advcash for deposits and withdrawals. The broker’s processing time is not necessarily the same as the payment provider’s settlement time, and cryptocurrency withdrawals also require blockchain confirmation.
08
Execution and Trading Conditions
AMarkets offers maximum leverage of up to 1:3000 on major forex pairs, subject to account type and jurisdiction. From Friday 22:00 to Monday 01:00 server time, the stated maximum is capped at 1:1000. Leverage may also be reduced according to total open volume or account type. For currency-pair and metals positions opened within 15 minutes before and 10 minutes after major macroeconomic releases, the stated maximum is 1:200; margin requirements for some assets can be recalculated during high-impact news periods.
AMarkets permits scalping and hedging. Its terms describe MT4 and MT5 hedging support and say no additional margin is required for a same-size hedging order. Margin-call levels are 50–100 and stop-out levels are 20–40. Position size, leverage and overnight financing should be considered together, particularly when holding leveraged trades through volatile periods.
Slippage can be positive or negative. No independent execution-speed statistics are provided here, so the ECN label and automation options do not establish a particular execution speed or outcome.

Before You Open an Account
Check these three things first
- Your legal entity: Confirm which AMarkets entity will contract with you; its Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Cook Islands registrations are company registrations, not forex or broker licences.
- Your likely trading cost: Compare the spread and per-side commission for your chosen account and instrument, and include overnight swaps if you expect to hold positions past rollover.
- Your product/account requirements: Check the account minimum, the leverage and margin rules that apply to your entity, and whether CFD exposure meets your needs where direct ownership matters.
Bottom line
AMarkets is primarily suited to experienced MetaTrader traders who want high leverage, copy trading and a choice of pricing structures. Its international company registrations, rather than forex or broker licences, are the main reason to examine the contracting entity and protections carefully before opening an account.
